This is a wonderful little boutique hotel in Kyoto located about a 10 min walk to the Nishiki market and a 15 min drive to the Kyoto station. Bus stops and train stations within walking distance connect you to the important destinations. The rooms are quite large and well appointed. The staff is very helpful and friendly and always attentive. The breakfast is elaborate, large and fantastic - both the western and japanese style. IF you get the executive suite, it comes with a projector and bose sound system in a living space along with the standard TV. They have a nice rooftop too. Overall it is a great hotel and worth the stay.

We stayed in the suite which was very large and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and big. The spa was the most comfortable I have ever used. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The hotel is set in suburbia but we found this was great as we enjoyed walking around and observing the daily lives of the locals. It is located approximately 30 mins walking distance to the Gion district and around 15 mins to Teramachi, restaurants and shops. 15 mins walk to the local train and close to the Kyoto Imperial Palace.

Rooms are stunning, big surfaces, full facilities and amenities, extremely clean. The most comfortable bed (futon on tatami) we have ever had. The hotel is elegant and stylish, contemporary in traditional Japanese beautifulness. Best location in town. The terrace is the cherry on the cake offering an amazing view. Staff is very professional, kind, helpful, always smiling and offering the perfect customer care, perfectly English speaking. A true GEM in Kyoto and the perfect getaway to celebrate special journey!

Honestly everything, the vegan dinner was also a mind blown experience and I'm not vegan, my partner is and I'm happy to share the experience with her, but it was wow. We were playing music loud and watching TV on a high volume and couldn't hear anything from the outside which is something rare to find in Japan, hotels here have thin walls unfortunately. Staff were very helpful with every request we asked for. I would definitely come back.

This hotel was fantastic. There was a review that said this place was in the middle of nowhere “with nothing around it”. This hotel is literally across the street from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Gardens, and surrounded by streets of bakeries and restaurants. It only took us about 15 minutes to get to the Gion district. The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and sweet, and the room was beautiful and huge.
